βšͺEinherjar Souls

Souls are the spiritual essence of fallen warriors, monsters, and divine beings. In The Nine Worlds, Souls are more than loot, they’re your lifeline to progress.

πŸ“Œ What Are Souls?

Souls are used to:

  • Gain Job EXP

  • Cast or enhance certain skills

  • Fuel divine mechanics (Shrines, Specific Job Skills)

  • Offer at altars or NPCs to unlock systems, gear, or prestige

They drop from monsters, bosses, and special events.

🧬 Types of Souls

There are three types of Souls in the game:

Name
Description

Einherjar Soul

Standard soul dropped by most monsters. Lost on death. Used to gain Job EXP and activate some skills.

Rare Einherjar Soul

Preserved soul. Not lost on death. Dropped from specific scenarios like dungeons, instances or special monsters like Champions

Epic Einherjar Soul

Legendary-grade soul. Extremely rare. Required for high-end progression systems and item crafting. Dropped from minibosses, bosses or special events.

⚠️ You can only hold a limited number of Souls. Manage them wisely.

πŸ“ˆ Using Souls for Progression

Job EXP in The Nine Worlds comes not directly from monsters, but from offering Souls at key NPCs (like Friederike).

  • πŸŒ€ Offer Souls to gain Job EXP

  • πŸ’  Some jobs (like Cleric and Valkyrie) consume Souls to cast powerful spells

βš”οΈ Souls in Combat

Certain classes interact with Souls during battle:

  • Clerics use Souls to power healing and buffs

  • Valkyries require Souls for resurrection and Divine effects

πŸ“ Managing Souls during combat is often the difference between a high-risk burst and long-term survival.
